My Review of Kyle XY 3.03- Electric Kiss

Oh boy, talk about an implosion of epic proportions that was totally avoidable. An explosion from Stephen, Cassidy takes Mark in hand, Josh tries to take other things in hand, and Jessi, the Tragers, and Amanda adjust to Jessi's presence in the Trager household.

Before any character stuff, can I just say that the opening was totally funny. Particularly Kyle walking in on Jessi in the shower. Both of them were so deadpan that it made an otherwise embarrassing moment absolutely hilarious. And then Lori's line about things being interesting (forget the exact line) just put the cap on it.

I don't know whether or not to feel sad for Kyle. As much as I love him and Amanda together, he has royally screwed this relationship up this season. I understand why he's been keeping the secret so far, but when he knew what he and Jessi were going to do, he should have stepped forward and said something to Amanda. Now the two of them are over; for now anyway; and given the preview for next week, he takes it hard. At least he had the guts to admit that he had screwed up. Oy!

I definitely feel sorry for Amanda. Her boyfriend is spending all sorts of time with another girl she doesn't like, he's keeping secrets and lying to her, and then she walks on him kissing the other girl. While we know she should have let him explain, I don't think she's in the mood for that right now.

Lori, Lori, Lori. Love you honey, but you so have to go after a more appropriate guy. But, Declan was right. Declaring Mark off limits made him irresistible. Of course, she was attracted to him before, so that is not totally it, but still, it doesn't help matters. And Cassidy has declared Lori off limits now. This should make for interesting times.

I want to smack Jessi upside the head, but it is so hard to. She is an innocent in certain ways, but also conniving. She's like that little kid who wants something and will do anything to get it. Or in this case, him. At least she recognized that Kyle was in pain and tried to help him. I do so love her lines though. She just says things without realizing the meaning sometimes. That and her bluntness make for the episodes more amusing moments.

Other amusing moments brought to you courtesy of Josh. Missing Andi obviously. But somehow, I don't see porn substituting for the real thing. And literally being caught with his pants down. Definitely good for a laugh or two. But boy needs to get his mind off of the single track it is on.

I am still curious about what Latnok wants. We got a step closer today with Cassidy stating that they want a relationship with Kyle. And Cassidy is just a mouthpiece? Interesting.

Next week, the fallout of the Kyle/Amanda split. Including a drunk Kyle. This ought to be good for a laugh.
