V- new series

Decided to give the new series V a try tonight. I liked it. I also noticed that I know ALOT of the cast:

Elizabeth Mitchell- Lost
Joel Gretsch- Taken, The 4400
Morena Baccarin- Firefly, Serenity, Stargate SG-1, Stargate: The Ark of Truth
Lourdes Benedicto- Dawson's Creek
Laura Vandervoort- Smallville
Scott Wolf- Everwood
Alan Tudyk- Firefly, Serenity, Dollhouse

In case you do not know, V is about a group of alien visitors (the V's) who come to Earth supposedly to share technology and be friends. Their leader is a beautiful woman played by Morena Baccarin (who is beautiful even with the extremely short haircut). Some humans are suspicious of the V's and others accept them. The V's decide to set up a "Peace Ambassador" program to smooth the way between humans and themselves. One of the V's ambassadors is Laura Vandervoort who gets the immediate attention of some human teenage males (of course!) one of whom is the son (Logan Huffman) of an FBI agent (Elizabeth Mitchell). Meanwhile, the FBI agent and her partner (Alan Tudyk) are investigating a sleeper cell who started seriously communicating shortly after the V's arrived. In the midst of their investigation, they discover information about a secret meeting. So she goes to the meeting to see what is up.

When she gets there she realizes that the meeting is an anti-V's group and one of the members is a priest (Joel Gretsch); although she doesn't know this. The V's attack the meeting, and many people are killed. The FBI agent is attacked by her partner who is a V in disguise. Meanwhile, we also discover that there is another group of V's who are rebels (one of whom is Morris Chestnut) against the planned takeover/wiping out of Earth.

This has the potential to be seriously cool if done right. Plan to keep watching.
